Perfect is book 4 in Felice Stevens’ Soulmates series but can be read as a standalone. This book seemed to run concurrent to book 2, so the interaction with Noah from book 2 doesn’t give anything away from that one.

Even though Jeremy is bisexual, he doesn’t have much luck with men or women but, I give him credit for knowing what he wants and not accepting less than that. After walking out on a date, he sees a man struggling in the winter storm. Jeremy stops to help him, is attracted to him and invites him to his place for Irish coffee. Blake is suspicious of Jeremy, but goes along with him. Though Jeremy and Blake are opposites in most ways, they both have loads of insecurity in common. The constant insecurity really bogged down the story for me. Then when you added Noah, Jeremy’s younger brother, and his insecurity it just weighed down the story even more for me.

But despite the insecurity of the two men, they somehow manage a relationship, and for the most part, I really liked Jeremy. He had no experience with relationships but he gave it his all. He worked hard and was always thinking of ways to improve his business. He had a good relationship with Noah, even though he still had some issues of jealousy left over from childhood. I struggled with liking Blake, on the other hand. He wasn’t bad at first, but the longer the story went on and his actions really made me not like him. Eventually, he seemed to work things out for himself, after treating those in his life like crap, and it all worked out.

If you’re a fan of this author, I’m sure you’ll love this book! And you do get a little interaction with Carter, Reed, and Jacks, from the first book, who I loved. So whether you start at the beginning, or just read this one, happy reading!

Jeremy and Blake have their ups and downs in this story. Not every relationship is actually perfect and while Blake and Jeremy have their issues they seem to be as close to Perfect as they can be, at least for each other.

I love the way Felice introduces her characters and develops the relationships. From the very beginning where Blake and Jeremy meet I find myself wishing for them to find happiness in each other and Felice delivered.

I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to seeing what Felice has in store for us in the neat future.

This is my first book I’ve read by Felice Stevens and it definitely won’t be the last!

The story of Jeremy and Blake was written beautifully. It showed us that no matter how different they were on the outside, they fitted each other perfectly.

Blake is trying to deal with self doubting himself since childhood and along comes Jeremy who becomes his everything, his world, his rock!

“I don’t feel like me anymore. I’m not the same person. I don’t know who I am anymore.”
“I do,” “You’re mine. And I love you. I don’t know how to unlove you.”

#swoon!

Blake thinks because all of it is to good to be true, something is bound to break his happiness- and in saying that he was right...

Blake’s world falls apart, but is Jeremy’s love and strength enough to get through to Blake?

These boys made me laugh, but it also made me cry. Some parts really broke my heart as I really felt for them!

These two really are perfect for each other and I’m so glad I read this book! Now I need to go back and read the series!! 😊

** I received an ARC of this book **

Every time I read a book by Felice, by the time I get to the end, I have nothing but a smile on my face. Her books always leave me feeling happy. In her newest book, Perfect, this was no exception.

Jeremy and Blake were so adorable, yet they both had insecurities they had to work through. Watching them grow closer and fall in love gave me all the feels. Throughout their journey, you'll laugh, cry, get annoyed (communication is always the key). You will be rooting for these two from the beginning. Sometimes appearances can be deceiving and you never know how someone is feeling on the inside. All you need is that one person to make you see your worth.

Do yourself a favor. Meet Jeremy and Blake and enjoy their story. You won't be disappointed!

Man I had such high Hope's for this one, but it fell so short. I didn't like anything about it, I almost DNF'd it but wanted to see how the ending played out. It's most definitely the weakest if the series considering all the other books were amazing, but this one? I don't know, both characters just didn't connect and the relationship just seemed so toxic from the beginning, plus it felt like one big dark moment of a book so... just read the other two books, they're much better!! I did like seeing Noah again though!

Both MCs had self esteem issues shaped by bad parents. Jeremy was likable. Blake’s issues were so severe that he was unable to have a relationship with Jeremy. Blake’s character didn’t grow and mature during the story. He was finally caught in his poor behavior and deceptions, but by that time it was too little too late. Blake’s confession and instant reconciliation with Jeremy didn’t give me enough “feel goods”. The romance didn’t work for me because of that. Another issue was the MCs’ interactions with side characters. They crossed normal personal, social and professional boundaries and were obviously done to create drama and angst. It was all OTT. The MCs shared too much intimate information with others and never with each other.

I enjoyed [b:The Shape of You|34599259|The Shape of You|Felice Stevens|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1496241936s/34599259.jpg|55744168] and will keep that on my reread shelf.
