In the past, I haven't been as taken with Miss Marple as with Poirot, but I quite enjoyed this one. The mystery was also very good - extremely twisty but wrapped up neatly by the end.

Not my favorite Marple book. I appreciate that we spend more time as a reader with Miss Marple and her thoughts (compared to other Marple books) but the rest of the characters didn’t really pull me in. Still had a pretty good twist that I didn’t see coming. Decent whodunnit book overall.

The story itself is decent, though certainly not Christie’s best. The racism, though? Definitely not the vibe.

Audiobook (All of my entries on The Story Graph are audiobooks.)
#10 in series
Will I read other installments? Probably Not Maybe Likely Most LIkely Definitely I am committed to this series.
Comparison to others in series: Better About the same Not as good Good, but it could have been better
The narrator was Emilia Fox. Excellent as always.
