Loved it. The threat of the overarching BBEG for Era 2 really started to click in for me in this book, and I loved the character moments and relationship developments.

For now, I'm rating this the same as Shadows of Self because I think I prefer that book over this one, but I'm not sure yet. This book just didn't leave as big of an impact on me as the previous entry did. But, this book was definitely good. Villains were great, and we get some new Cosmere/Scadriel info.

I also like some of the relationship development between the cast of protagonists, and Allomancy action scenes are always great.
