Wow. This book had some excellent twists…although the truth is horrifying and disturbing so not excellent but yet definitely surprising. I really liked how it ended up being really different stories about the two different disappearing teen. I also liked that Angela grew and was able to look like she might be willing to change her ways. I really hope there is a sequel…I feel there is a huge storyline about Matt that is unfinished.

4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars! Detective Jane Munro is a pregnant detective whose boyfriend is missing, and this is her first case after his disappearance. She has been appointed as the detective on a cold case where human bones have been found under church. Angela, a news reporter is also trying to get as much information on this story, hoping that this will be her big break for her own show. These remains belong to a missing girl, Annalise, who disappeared 47 years ago and it has been determined Annalise was pregnant at the time of her death.

Annalise was a part of friend group and was with them at a party the night she disappeared, who have been tagged as the Shoreline Six, and Jane believes that they either know what happened and/or one of them might have killed her. Also at the party was Darryl Hendricks, who was Annalise’s tutor who she was close friends with who also disappeared that night and was blamed for Annalise’s disappearance.

The more that Jane learns about this case, the more she realizes that it’s not going to be easy to get to the truth. Ella, is also on this case as the forensic anthropologist and is the person in charge of gaining as much information as possible from these unquiet bones. This story is told in multiple POV’s, and everyone is a suspect and they all have secrets. I did not expect the ending and all I can say is, WOW.
