Told from multiple POVs, this mystery dives into Detective Jane Munro’s homicide investigation following the discovery of human bones, which may be linked to the missing teen, Annalise from decades ago. The media goes into a frenzy over this revelation but Annalise's friends, known as the Shoreview Six, rather keep their secrets under wraps.

I loved the strong women portrayed in this story and focus on forensic anthropology. I was able to predict a few reveals but the plot twist at the end had me shook! While it wasn’t my fave book by White, I would recommend to those who don’t mind numerous a classic, suspicious friend group trope with a number of characters.
