This book had some up and down heartfelt moments. My favorite would be Jamie staying in the room while Brianna gives birth. That seen just put a smile on my face it was just so heartwarming. I also like the similarities between Brianna and Jamie as well as the saying goes like father like daughter.

I adore this series. Drums of Autumn was no exception. I'm always impressed with the details that are put into the books. While some of the historic details may be somewhat inaccurate, it at least feels plausible. The dynamic between Jamie, Brianna, and Roger is interesting. Jenny and Lord Grey continue to be my favorites in the series. The ending had me in tears.
