4.5 rounded up for goodreads
Cinder and Ella lead very different lives and become best friends after Cinder leaves a strong comment on one of Ella's blog posts. They know almost everything about each other, except for their first names, and are very close. What Ella doesn't know is that Cinder is really teenage Hollywood star, Brian Oliver who has been cast as the lead role in the tv adaptation of the book series that started their friendship, The Cinder Chronicles. What Cinder doesn't know is that Ella was in a traumatic car crash, leaving her with burns covering 70% of her body and leading to her spending eight months in rehabilitation before moving in with her father's new family in Los Angeles.
It has been a long time since I've read a cute, cheesy (in a good way) teenage romance that had me smiling for a while. This book is quite a fast read and I read it in one sitting of 2.5 hours because I could just not put it down. Despite the knowledge that I needed to sleep; the fast paced plot, lovable character that is Cinder and the amazing friendships that Ellamara forged made this book one of the most enjoyable ones I have read this year. The only negative thing I have to say is that I wished it was longer. I loved these characters and the story so much that I wanted way more of them and I am well aware that there is a sequel which I will definitely be reading.

4.5/5 estrellitas.

So good! Captured my attention from page on and didn't let go until I had finished. Everyone dreams of finding their prince charming this way, or at least I do (or did since I'm married now). Perfectly fun read!

I just adore this story sm. I don‘t even know why. Something about it makes me so giddy, emotioanl and happy. Everything is perfect. Ellamara and Brian as couple as well as their own persons. I LOVE her name and the meaning behind it. I love how he calls her woman when he is agitated (even though I miss the Madam from the german audiobook). I love the nerd talk about the Cinder Chronicles and their conversations are so wholesome and perfect and funny. Her story is so tragic and yet so healing. Something about this story makes me enjoy it time and time again. I mean I reread (relistened?) to three times now and I still enjoy every minute of it and could read it yet again (which I have with basically with no other book no matter how much I love it)
