Holy shit! I know I'm late to the Party, as this book is a few years old already, but I'm glad somebody recommended it!
Soooooo damn good! I loved it so much! These Feelings in the book are fantastic. I cried so much, the last time a book wrecked me like this was A thousand Boy kisses by Tillie Cole. You NEED tissues with this one. As in plural!!!

5 Star Cinder & Ella
I was looking for something different, and I am so flipping glad I took a chance on this book!
I am not a HUGE fan of YA, because usually there is just too much immature dramalama and it drives me nuts. But I am going to say it... This book had drama yes but in a way that flows with the book.
I was enthralled with Ella, and Cinder and their relationship. I didn’t want to stop listening at any point and I was even sorry when the book ended I wanted more, more, more.
It really is a twist on the Cinderella tale but in a completely fresh way. We really get to know the characters well and not just on the surface. This book reminds me of The Sea of Tranquility if anyone has read that YA novel you know what I mean by the depth of a YA book.
Ella has a lot of bad going for her but I loved her tenacity, is she broken down? Sure, but she doesn’t make it anyone’s fault when she could. I wouldn’t say she just takes it but she is coping the very best way she knows how.
I loved how she asks for help and picks herself up.
Cinder was delicious but it was more than that, you fall in love with his heart. His character is just one of those characters you want to keep for yourself. I am calling it he is my BOOK BOYFRIEND... Back off Ladies :p
I loved the narration!! I don’t know what a Boston accent is but I would think Kirsten nailed it. Because it wasn’t on every word but it was there. I liked her male voice too... ;)
Also really wished this author had more audiobooks because I was going to go get more... :(

I just finished reading The Avery Shaw Experiment and realized that I have yet to write a review for Cinder & Ella on here XD So this book was my top top favorite for a really long time. It was the first book i read by Kelly Oram and the one that made me be a fan of her writing.
I just loved the story and the way it was written just made me feel so many emotions.The characters that Oram writes makes you fall in love with them. You laugh at their little things and it makes you feel as if they are entirely real and with you at the moment.
I seriously with that they would make movies out of these books. Bring these epic characters to life.

Tiene una cuantas cositas que criticar pero es Kelly Oram, es una de las pocas escritoras que en realidad puede meterme en una historia romántica.

No es un hecho desconocido mi gran admiración por Kelly Oram, sus libros siempre son divertidos y hasta relajantes. Mis ganas con este libro eran demasiadas, cuando me llegó el mail con el eARC, I JUST CAN'T. Dejé todo por leer un nuevo libro de mi ya favorita Kelly Oram. Mi amor anticipado no solo era porque la protagonista tenga el mismo nombre que yo, aunque no negaré que las bromas que Kelly hizo en un mail reciente sobre mi nombre, fueron DEMASIADO para mi pobre corazón. Mi otra razón para leer el libro es también algo muy personal, no les voy a decir... por ahora xD

El libro fue lo que esperé, me lo devoré en cuestión de muy pocas horas. No sé si te pasa pero cuando uno de mis escritores favoritos publicará un nuevo libro, el miedo y la anticipación compiten por ganarse mi sistema nervioso porque ¿qué tal si no me gusta? ¿qué tal si no es tan bueno como el anterior? Sobre todo porque la discapacidad, como mencioné en otra reseña, no es un tema que se tome mucho en los libros juveniles. Hay poquísimos. Me ha gustado mucho la introducción de Ella (no yo xD ok ._,) al libro, juega mucho con los cuentos populares, burlándose un poco, por ejemplo el que las protagonistas de cuentos antes de tener su final feliz tienen que pasar casi un infierno y, como bien dice ella, en teoría es genial, excepto si tú eres la que pasa el infierno. Para mí Ella, más allá del nombre, me fue muy familiar, facilísimo de conectar con ella. Hay muchas cosas en el libro que me hicieron pensar "creo que Kelly está escribiendo mi biografía" (lástima que yo todavía no haya llegado al Happily Ever After, así que entenderán...)
¿No aman cuando las escritoras hacen crossover en sus propios libros?
Fue una completa sorpresa y algo que es la primera vez noto, al menos en un libro de Kelly, que mencione personajes de otro de sus libros. Cuando leí quién aparecía o quién era quién en otro de sus libros, tuve que parar de leer para proceder con el fangirleo necesario. Créanme, era necesario. PISTA: uno es cantante. YA, no digo más, son solo menciones, así que no crean cameos ni nada... ¿o sí?
Nuestra protagonista es latina!
Y aquí viene me crítica, aplaudo mucho a Kelly sobre está parte de la historia, sobre todo porque no es la típica latina, al menos al inicio. ¿Qué quiero decir con esto? Es que la autora va un poco más allá de sus fronteras y se viene hasta sudamérica. Lo cuál es mega genial, casi no hay protagonista latinas de este lado de la gran América pero (tenía que haber un pero) lamentablemente mezcló muchas cosas de los latinos, combinó algunas cosas de México con cosas de Chile, al final utilizó los mismo recursos que otros escritores utilizan con los latinos. Quizá me esté equivocando, lo cuál es muy seguro.
Me gustó demasiado la historia, el romance es parte muy importante del libro, sólo que para mí fue más Ella y su recuperación y todas las cosas que pasan, como les dije, ella y yo no solo tenemos el nombre en común, sino otras muchísimas cosas.

Miren, lo voy a poner así: Hay un montón de cosas que hablar sobre el libro, podría hacer este post mucho más largo, hay un montón de cosas que no les he mencionado, personajes que me han encantado pero quiero ustedes descubran. Te habrás dado cuenta que para mí éste ha sido un libro muy especial. Tiene algunas cositas que quizá no me convencieron del todo, Brian como personaje no me gustó tanto como había esperado, terminé encariñada y más interesada en Ella.

This book was a complete surprise to me! From the title & cover I expected something much more fluffy and teenage like but this book was so much more than that. Ella was a great YA character because even though she was young, she was mature and strong and handled her life better than most adults I know. When her life flips up side down she stands strong as much as she can. The romance was sweet and Cinder was exactly what she Ella needed. The grand gesture was swoon worthy. Loved the modern day Cinderella story line. I'd love to fins more books like this!

Würde ich dieses Buch nicht lieben, dann würde ich es classic "I fell in love with a moviestar wattpad Story" abstempeln.
Aber so ist es nun einmal nicht. Normal graust es mir ja vor solchen Geschichten, aber irgendwie hat mich der Klappentext so überzeugt, dass ich es einfach ausprobieren musste.
Die Character sind einfach so gut und realistisch gestaltet. Vor allem mit der Protagonistin ist man als Leser richtig auf einer Wellenlänge. Man vertritt voll ihre Meinung und ist dabei blind, wie falsch diese manchmal ist. Dann ist man schockiert, wenn der Protagonistin Ella das vor Augen geführt wird, weil man es als Leser einfach nicht mitbekommen hat. Das ist schon wahrlich ein Talent einer Autor/in, dass man seine Charactere so realistisch rüberbringen kann.
Ella ist eine Bücherbloggerin und hat über ihren Blick Cinder kennengelernt. Mit ihm schreibt sie nun schon seit 3 Jahren hin und her. Dann gerät sie in einen Autounfall und erleidet schwere Verbrennungen. Davon trägt sie hässliche Narben über ihren ganzen Körper verteilt davon. Auch kann sie nicht richtig gehen und muss eine Hilfe dazu benutzen. Sie durchlebt also eine richtige Down-Phase in ihrem Leben. Ihre einzige Stütze ist dabei ihr Internet Freund Cinder. Was sie noch nicht weiß ist, dass dieser Cinder in Wahrheit die neue Teenie-Ikone in Hollywood ist.
Es hat mir richtig Spaß gemacht dieses Buch zu lesen. Selten erfreue ich mich so sehr an Love-Stories. Aber diese fand ich wirklich, wirklich toll. Kann ich nur jedem weiterempfehlen.
Einen negativen Kritikpunkt hab ich allerdings, wobei das jeder für sich selbst entscheiden muss. (Deswegen ein Stern abzug) Nämlich wären mit einige bessere Möglichkeiten/Arten in den Kopf gekommen, wie man auflösen konnte, dass Ella (die Protagonistin) herausfindet, wer Cinder in Wahrheit ist. Das war meiner Meinung sehr unspektakulär gelöst.
Trotzdem ist das Buchs sehr süß und ich habe auch gerade begonnen die Fortsetzung zu lesen.
