I'd been trying to get my little werewolf paws on this one for a while so it was exciting to grab it at last!

Reese is trying to keep to himself on campus and becomes aware of the persistant attentions of Maddie. He sees right through her ploy as a girl with a crush on him, knowing that the Australian pack who want him dead have tracked him down. Maddie is the bait in the trap but he can call on help from his new friends.

Maddie's father owes the Aussie pack and capturing Reese for them is their ticket to safety but no matter what Maddie tries, Reese will not engage with her. Drastic efforts are required and they now decide to try and catch Noah to get to Resses.

I loved the graphics in this novel and it was great to get a bit more background on Reese after he comes to USA. It filled in the story gap nicely. My one complaint is the price of these graphic novels which are pretty steep, so I hope we don't get flooded by graphic novels in the series. My book budget would explode!

Four reasons to read Bounty Hunt:

1) It's a nice addition to the universe because it's our first proper look at a Pack other than the North American one.

2) I loved seeing the Pack members interact. The poker game at the Sorrentinos' made me feel warm and fuzzy, as did the admission that the best way to hurt Reese is to go after Noah because the two have become brothers.

3) Getting to see Elena filling the Alpha shoes from an outside POV is wonderful. Without the internal self-doubt, she comes across as confident and capable.

4) The "Meanwhile at Stonehaven" page at the end is amazing, showing what Jeremy and Jaime had to put up with from the twins while Elena and Clay were away.

Three drawbacks to Bounty Hunt:

1) I loved Reese's last story, so I went into this with big expectations, which unfortunately, the book couldn't live up to. My main problem is Madison, the POV character. I appreciate her athleticism, but I find her annoying.

2) Madison's motivation comes from wanting to protect here father, but I didn't like him either.

3) I found a lot of the art panels unappealing.

I really love seeing Elena as alpha and how much the pack protects one of their own. I really like Reese and I hope Kelley Armstrong gives us more stories with him and Noah.

I liked it, but think it would have been better told as a novella rather than a graphic novel. The best part of this is the last page of panels, showing Jeremy babysitting the twins. It's pretty funny.

This was a great way to learn a little more about Reese who is a favourite of mine. I'm still not a big fan of this art style but at least it was easy to read and understand.

Not my favorite story, maybe I'm just not used to these stories as graphic novels, but it was still a great addition to the Otherworld universe. I loved seeing the twins!

This is a graphic novel set in the Women of the Otherworld world. This story follows Reese, the young Australian werewolf who joined the pack in the book Frostbitten. If you read Chivalrous, then you know Reese’s back story about why he left Australia. The backstory of Chilvalrous is pretty critical to the story in Bounty Hunt.

Maddie is the human daughter of a werewolf. She came to live with her father after her mother was murdered. Her mother taught her at a young age to call a certain number if she were ever in trouble. She went to live with her father after her mother’s death. Her father owes a debt to the local Australian werewolves. He is asked to find Reese and bring him back to the pack. Maddie decides that she is better equipped to bring Reese in than her father, so she leaves for America.

Maddie thought it would be pretty easy to seduce and bring in a young college boy. However, she was not aware of the past that Reese has had with young college girls. He has no trust in them. It is harder to flirt and seduce him than she expects. The Australians come to America to speed things up. They have to deal with Elena and Clay

Bounty Hunt is a nice addition to the Otherworld series. We get to spend more time with Reese. Elena and Clay make an appearance. Plus the new additions of Maddie and her father as characters were done well. There are pages at the end that come from the Legacy. Keep reading all the way to the end, even past the Legacy. The very last page is a nice treat. Showing us what Jeremy and Jamie had to deal with while Clay and Elena are gone.

While I think you could read this book without knowing the Otherworld stories, I do think you will miss out on a lot of the backstory. This was a limited edition print. I believe that this is something Kelley Armstrong printed knowing that it would only be picked up for the diehard fans. I don’t read a lot of graphic novels, but I’ve read some. This one is well done with great artistry. I will continue to get my hands on anything that Kelley Armstrong publishes, if I can manage it.
