Argh, I have mixed feelings. I felt so disconnected from the characters and the story but I also really enjoyed reading it???

I don’t know, but the third part (present time) was not as good as the second part (fifteen years ago) because the story was so fucking rushed and there was so many time skips. Everything was a little too convenient and we didn’t really get to know you-know-which-character in depth. Also, we didn’t get a lot on their new character dynamic and I felt that something was missing from the book.

It also had a Wattpad vibe…

I really wish I’d like this more:(

I enjoyed this book until the last 100 pages which really threw me through a loop. Up until then the depth we were given into these characters and their story was a very pleasant read. I just found the ending to be hasty and cliché.
