I really enjoyed reading this book I felt like it was over too soon. The only thing I wish it had was someone other than Aiden telling Ivy she didn’t do anything wrong. Tell a seventeen year old you never want to see their face again then add having the only family member she was close with say they wish they were an only child and of course she’s gonna run away and be mentally unwell. When it came to the scene where she apologizes for leaving she takes all the responsibility for the failed relationship when she was told her whole life she was unwanted and that part just doesn’t sit well with me.

Good read
Possible trigger warnings. Suicide and mental health issues are discussed in the book. This was my first book by this author. Best friends that lose contact but reconnect in college. Ivy struggles with past issues, but Aiden proves time and again he is there to support her. I enjoyed Aiden & Ivy’s story.

So like... ivy was annoying. I get it, she's been through he'll, but just her character was annoying. Aiden, well some of the things he said to her in regards to her past and what she'd done was just vile. Also, he was pushy. The whole getting her kicked out was beyond fucked and controlling even though he thought it was best.
Graphic: Self harm
It tried so hard to be a deep book. But it just didn't grab me enough to stay interested. It was okay
ok dommy mommy. written like a wattpad book in the best way possible. heavy topics that could’ve been written about better.
This book was a rollercoaster of emotions. Aftervy's past and seeing her become a fantastic person pretty much all by herself was heartwarming reading about me. Not only that, I loved how protective Aiden is of Ivy and how wholesome their relationship is. I 100% recommend this book!
