the dialogue made me cringe sometimes but tbh that is just me being hard to please. also lmao it took me like half the book to realize she had blue hair and then she changed it but i kept on picturing brown hair anyway. I’m not a huge fan of slow burn (I get antsy) but this book was perfect. Not too much and yet plenty to keep me engaged and wanting it to work out for Ivy and Aiden. Childhood friends to lovers is what I would call it and it was thoroughly enjoyable. 4.5 stars!

I don’t think I’ve read any of the author’s books before but this one surely made me want to check out her other titles in her back catalogue because I enjoyed it quite a lot.
I’m always looking up for a second chance romance but here I got even more than that. A beautiful love story with two cha that needs to go through some hard times in their new adult life and to take decisions that will change their life for the future.
I loved the chemistry and while I’m not sold one hundred per cent on the tied loose ends with her family, overall was a great story that many romance readers will enjoy.
