TW: self-harm, suicidal ideation, depression

Ivy & Aiden were a roller coaster of emotions for me. Growing up as neighbors they become best friends. There was a lot they each dealt with as kids that bonded them to each other. Ivy’s home life wasn’t the best & Aiden was her escape, until he wasn’t. Something pushed them a part & kept them away for quite some time, until they end up at the same university. Wow oh wow the sexual tension & emotion run HIGH in this book. The character development was amazing & I loved how you got to see just how connected Aiden & Ivy really were. They’re story was so beautiful I couldn’t put it down.

The spice in this book was SO GOOD. I mean we got some major sexy time with these characters which I loved. I highly recommend this book, I think it was such a romantic & emotional story!!

I like how this book handled touchy subjects like self-harm and dysfunctional families really well.

I really really enjoyed this book. The way it flicks between past and present is very good it’s so well thought out. And the roofing that you have for Ivy and Aidan, and Ivy’s story is so beautiful. You must read! Check tws before

TW* self harm, suicide

Ivy Underwood has never had it easy. Leaving her hometown at 16, she left behind her parents, her brother and her best friend Aiden Griffith.

Ethan is currently his colleges football star. His only goal is to make it in the big leagues. When his best friend comes back into his life, can things really go back to the way they were?

I really liked Aiden. He wasn’t your typical college football asshole. He was caring and thoughtful, always trying to help Ivy out. Ivy on the other hand, I found to be really annoying. Every time Aidan would try to help her out she would turn him down and become defensive. I found there to not be a lot of chemistry between these two.

All in all, I found this book to be just ok. Nothing too memorable though

Honestly I liked it in the beginning then just things started happening too quickly. And i felt like the guy was just not it, like he’s supposed to be the “perfect guy” but just like he said he didn’t save himself for her but for football.
