Four head in the game stars...✨✨✨
“Aiden’s always been the person to make me want more. Make me want better. And I’m the only person who can make it happen”.
I never know how to start these reviews. I loved Ivy’s perseverance and her spirit. You have trigger warnings given so pay heed to them.
I cannot boil it down but she went through some shit. She survived through 4 horrendous years of her life. I related to her at a very personal level because yes we all have families and they have their own set of issues. To be candid, I am stuck in a place where she was and I have entertained the idea of running away but I know I wouldn’t survive it. What I mean to say is that I FEEL HER, the difference between us is that she was bold enough to make that choice her own and live with it.

Just imagine running away with no place to go to, she survived being homeless and hungry and reached a place where she had a resemblance of stability, fate drops her in front of Aiden and all she does is ignore his presence, his questions, her guilt. She felt worthless because of all that she went through and its beautiful to see how B.Celeste wrote her growth from there. It was the most beautifully written development personally. Ivy regretted it but she lived with her choice and that’s my volume right there.

Aiden is a sweetheart for her, he was always there for her even when she didn’t want him to. Looking out for her in ways she had no clue of. He was a catalyst in her recovery from all that trauma. He held her even when she fought him and it was always a fact to him that she was his Endgame.

It was a cute story but it was more than just a romance for me.
I would make this a 5 star read if I saw more of Aiden. I wanted him to be more than what he was in the book but in a way it suited the atmosphere that he wasn’t.
It was Ivy’s journey and he was just a part it i guess.
Love,Rosie✨

Meh. I didn’t connect to the characters, I didn’t really connect the storyline, it just wasn’t a hit for me. This was the first book by this author that I felt that way about, so I don’t know what caused it. Just something about the way the story was told, just didn’t work for me. It wasn’t a bad book, I just didn’t enjoy it.

Aiden is the best boyfriend or shall I say best friend! He doesn't judge her and tries to be supportive. He never gave up on her! He's the best! And his friends were so sweet to her.. he really telling his friends to look out for her🥺 also I wish she didn't apologize to her parents they were the ones who never looked for her they just assumed she was "better off" Really hate the parents. And don't get me started on the part where when they see her for the first time in years?! Wow I'd want to run away too!
2.5 stars contemporary romance. Includes
-childhood friends to lovers
-smut
For some reason, I just couldn't get into this book. I love the childhood friends to lovers trope but I didn't like this book. I think I had a hard time connecting to the characters.
