Id give this book at 3.75 star rating!⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ I think the story was super cute, but I'll be honest some of the characters just irritated me like come onnnnnn. The love Aiden had for Ivy though was very refreshing and very admirable. I enjoyed it when Porter got to see Ivy again too I was waiting for it to happen and his reaction was exactly like I'd hope or expect, but her parents on the other hand really just made me want to throw this book across the room!
DNF @ 30%.
Honestly had this in my TBR for a really long time, and just never felt the need to start. Then I did; and I have all the regrets.
FMC was annoying, made unnecessary and offensive jokes. I get she had a bad childhood and sure would have redeemed herself later but I can’t be bothered to find out why

I originally DNF’d this at 14% but the Super Bowl had me wanting to read a football romance. I should’ve trusted my original instincts.
Loved this book so much I plowed through it within 24 hours and am now half way through the 2nd one!!! Where has this author been all my life! Obsessed is an understatement
it was hard to finish this book. i felt like there were some loose ends that were brought up but not given enough detail to actually enjoy the book.
This was super cute! I loved Aiden and Ivy’s story. I can’t wait to continue on in this series. This is very much a comfort Romance! (I did relate a little too hard to Ivy in some parts though)
Emotional, passionate, and angst with a bit of sports and delicious foods sprinkled in.
The emotions suck you in. The characters have an amazing depth. They play off each other so well. Loved the sass. Flashbacks well balanced and seamlessly placed in the story. Moves forward and takes you for a wild ride.

OMG! What a beautiful pice of work this story is. I was completely captivated from the very beginning. I couldn’t put it down and wanted to know everything. The story flowed easily like water and had me mesmerized.
Ivy’s strength and courage was commendable and inspiring. Feeling like a disappointment and being verbally told your not good enough can be degrading and emotionally traumatizing. Thinking she was better on her own than with the people who were supposed to love her, changes her life. For the better, maybe not. But when you can only rely on yourself, you lose trust in others.
Aiden is the just absolutely one of my favorite characters. His devotion to his passion and ability to be emotionally in touch with his feelings was such a joy to read. His way of knowing and doing what is right rather than whats easy was refreshing. The vulnerability he had and shared just made him more relatable and someone you would want in real life.
Their friendship was one of the best things I’ve read. The ease of how they could talk to each other and trust they once had in each other was beautiful. Even though they were separated for a few years, it didn’t stop the connection. The moment they’re together alone for the first time at the college, I about lost my mind. Talk about feeling flustered, their cemetery was absolute fire. Aiden being her rock in so many ways without knowing everything just cements how strong their connection is.
Ivy’s past and everything she went through about brought me to tears. Her story is a tough one to read, but needs to be talked about and normalized more. Most of the time, YOU are your worst enemy. And when you have people in your life who are negative and are miserable as well, the cycle never breaks. Unless you do it yourself. But that’s only half the battle. Getting help is another thing entirely. Her strength in trying to mend some of her broken relationships just shows how powerful you can be by not letting the demons win.
I absolutely loved their story and the relationships Ivy developed along the way when she opened herself up. She surrounded herself with people who love and put good energy in the world instead of hate. Positive thoughts are so important but sometimes hard to come by. Though this story has a happy ending, not all do. But there is hope out there, and life is beautiful when you see it through another perspective.
