Pyramids by Terry Pratchett

This was an odd one- inconsistent is, I believe, the best word for it. Parts of it were great, and the characters were enjoyable- I really liked Teppic and Ptraci and You Bastard and IIa and IIb! And 1300 mummies making a pyramid! Great! But the plotting was...odd, I suppose? It went back and forth a bit for me, and I never quite got over the drastic change in tone & narrative that happened in the first quarter or so of the book. Anyway, in the Discworld I've read thus far, this is definitely better than Mort, but I think I liked all the others a bit better. This is probably on par with Sourcery, actually. It'll be interesting to see (and don't tell me!!) if this is a one-off sort of plot/characters or if this is one that Pratchett returns to. :-) Excited for the next book!

Finally jumping back into Discworld (for a bit) and this was just as silly as previous books in the series.
