3.4⭐

I finished an hour ago HAHAH so basically the story is just some you know your average romance story. I liked the story, it wasn't bad tho it also wasn't as good. I thought Bella just needed a bit more of a personality- cause damn she really lacks having one. Anyways, I'm giving it 3 stars. I would recommend this book if you really are into romance novels btw! :)) that's all <33

Terrible as expected, read it for the memes

it’s not very nicely written but it has an interesting plot

I had no desire to read this series or even watch the movie. The movie showed up through Netflix (my husband requested it), so I reluctantly watched it. After that, I had to read the books. I loved Twilight. The way it is written pulls the reader in and makes them feel like they are there in the story, right there in the location even. Maybe it helped a bit seeing the movie first because the characters' faces and the locations were already ingrained in my head, allowing me to focus solely on the emotions. Whatever it was, this book (and the others in the series) made me feel more emotion than I remember feeling before. I've already read parts of this one again while reading the other three, and there's no doubt that I will read this one again.

Fabulous!!!!!!

Whilst I still love the whole Twilight saga, and am one again totally captivated by the forbidden love (Beauty and the Beast) I find myself actually becoming more aggravated by Bella. The things I found endearing about her once over now really irritate me and I can understand how the book and film became like Marmite! You either love it or you hate it!

DID NOT FINISH

I made it to the end of chapter three or four. Bella was worrying about how things were going to go at her new school, it was the night before her first day. She says something to the nature of "I don't know what I'm worrying so much about, it's not like they're going to bite me", and I violently hurled the book across my science classroom, almost hurting the teachers aid. For context: I went to an all special Ed highschool for "behaviorally and emotionally disturbed" teenagers.

This moment frustrated me so much, it's now 2025 and I still remember this happening. I vividly recall shouting "YOURE NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE BAD VAMPIRE PUNS THIS EARLY WHEN YOURE NOT EVEN A GOOD WRITER" in the principles office while trying to explain that I was not attempting to assault the teachers aid (again), and that it was purely an accident.
