Segunda vez que leo Crepúsculo y lo disfruté más que la primera vez (abajo dejo mi primera reseña)
Sigo pensando que Edward es un intenso al igual que Bella, pero esta vez pude notar que en efecto, el se enamoró primero y más intensamente. Sigue siendo todo muy exótico, pero las intervenciones de Carlisle, Charlie, Alice y Esme me dan vida.
Pobre de Jacob en este libro, tan sólo tenía 15 años y jugaron con su pequeño corazón ;;

Me apestaron dos cosas:
- Que Edward fuera tan raro tipo "vengo todas las noches a verte dormir"
- Que Bella fuese tan ilusa tipo "quiero estar contigo pese a saber que es potencialmente peligroso estar con un vampiro"
Fuera de eso, me entretuvo bastante, considerando que lo leí en dos días y larga vida a Alice (L)

I don't know what possessed me to finally read this (it's been sitting on my bookshelf, unread, for about 8 years) but it was honestly better than I expected. All I know about twilight is that Edward is a creepy stalker-ish vampire who watches Bella sleep, and the "you're my own personal brand of heroin" meme, but it wasn't portrayed that creepy in the book given how obsessed Bella is too.
I feel like the first 2/3 of the book moved pretty slowly and not much happened and then it all went down in the last 3rd. I think I only read this so fast because I was enjoying the feel of reading a physical book over the ebooks I usually read.
I don't think I'll bother to read the other books in the series because I don't own them but I might watch the movies for fun. Now that I think of it, I mustve picked this up because I recently rewatched all the hunger games movies in preparation for the prequel, and wanted some more nostalgia feels.

I’m sorry but I was so freaking bored this entire time. I think this book legit put me in a reading slump. Also, I don’t see the chemistry between Edward and Bella like at all. They’re both just annoying and pretentious. Also can Bella stand up or what. Plus how can Edward do that whole protective act when he legit let Bella get jumped at the end of the book .

Saw the movie when it first came out and wasn't a fan, however I wanted to give the book a go to see what I was missing. I listed to the audiobook with my husband and was pleasantly surprised at how good the story was. I'm really glad I gave the book a chance and would recommend others who didn't care for the movie to do the same. **We are having a movie night tomorrow to rewatch the movie together and I'm actually so excited** 😅
