This book is crap. I read it with one eye and was bored. Like vampires? Read Charlaine Harris, Bram Stoker, Stephen King. NOT this series...ugh.

Subjectively, this book is a 4⭐️, but objectively, it isn’t that good. I grew up with twilight films, so it has a special place in my heart. This was my first read, and omg did i love it. It was soo much better event/character wise than the film.
There’s so much that had me going wtf, unexpected character shifts haha. I felt like i was a teen experiencing Twilight for the first time again.
People tend to argue about how fast they became obsessed, but i get it. You’re telling me you wouldn’t be obsessed with a greek god-like vampire either? SMH… but again Bella is a teenage girl, living a mundane life, and Edward is making it feel special. Even in the writing, as a reader i become obsessed with the vampires because it got so much more interesting when they were around, instead of the mundane life that was described.
It definitely shouldn’t be compared to great literary works, but it is good for what it is.

the mormonism is strong with this one.
