*not a spoiler but some specific detail you won’t get until you read*

Part one: fast. I get it. Setting it up but really fast. Had me questioning to keep going
Part two: i somewhat can’t stand Lauren as a person but by the end have learned to appreciate her and her emotions because I would be the same in her position.
Part three: she’s living and finding herself. Good for her
Part four: “Maybe it doesn’t matter if you need someone during the everyday moments of your life. Maybe what matters is that when you need someone, they are the one you need. Maybe needing someone isn’t about not being able to do it without them. Maybe needing someone is about it being easier if they are by your side.”
Part five: “don’t get mad but I’ve been reading your draft emails” Wholesome
A good solid read. I know I’ll be thinking about it even if I don’t remember all the details or characters. It’s a good story with good lessons.

3.5/5 stars. Quick read and fun characters. The plot was not my favorite of Reid’s and the family drama aspect was not my favorite either. I loved getting to know everyone in the beginning but it fell a little short for me at the end.

I was a bit bored with this book originally, however as the narrative developed further I really started to enjoy it. I realised it was so much more than a classic romance novel and although narrated wholly in the voice of the protagonist, provided so many interesting insights into what love means to different people. I started to get a bit emotional towards the end and definitely feel fulfilled after reading this!
