Overall: the Kane Chronicles are fun! I like having dual narrators with different personalities, and the way magicians interact with the Egyptian pantheon is interesting compared to PJO's demigods and Greek pantheon.
I have to say that I found the last book of the Kane Chronicles series to be my favorite. I think maybe I was FINALLY starting to understand a bit more about how Egyptian magic worked, and I think that's why the first two were harder to read. It's a very complex subject, and the research is astounding.
The starting seemed a bit sluggish but the plot twists and the fast pace at the end made me read till 5 in the morning,such a good and fun trilogy,definitely excited for the crossover books <3

Para la gran parte del libro, era 4.5, pero le bajé por unas cuestiones que vendrán a continuación.
Puntos buenos:
- El desarrollo de personajes de Carter y Sadie: uf, *chef kiss*, sin dudas me ha dejado satisfecha a no más dar. Mis pequeños han crecido y madurado como debían, sin ninguna duda los adoro mucho a los dos.
- Los personajes secundarios: si, admito que muy pocas veces tienen algún tipo de mención, sacando obviamente a Zia y Walt por ser los referentes amorosos de los hermanos, pero es que IIIIIIII es un estilo de familia encontrada muy bella y sus pocas apariciones (más Félix) me hacían felices.
- el DRAMA AMOROSO: gods, quedé-

Out of all three books in the Kane Chronicles, the second was the best. Serpent's Shadow was a huge let down. I'm glad I read the books, and perhaps I was subconsciously comparing TKC with PJO, but this series kind of disappointed me.
