I loved everything about this book. I loved the characters, the mystery seemed really interesting, and the plot was moving at a great pace. Everything was amazing except for the main thing — the actual killer and their motive. First of all, it gets revealed on the second to last page of the book, the person and motive for why they did it was so flimsy and stupid. I’m even more disappointed because this had everything to become a top tier read, but the killer reveal made it fall so so flat.

A fun mystery. Pretty good pacing. You have to suspend your belief a little and just go with it at times. The murderer is revealed only in the epilogue and thus ends up being a side story rather than the main focus, even though it was the focus the rest of the book, which didn't make much sense to me.
