I think this was engaging and interesting but the mystery or twists weren't super unordinary. The story was good but had a bunch of plot holes. All the twists they revealed could've been written better, like when they were showing the killer might have been Brynn's uncle, they could've focused more on making us believe he might be, instead of just writing that he was the one arguing. There was no "holy shit, I knew it was him!" Feeling when they revealed it, though it wasn't uncle nick after all, it would've been better if the people thought he was. The story was kind of all over the place with the murder of the gardener and all. I swear this was such a good story but a poor execution. I liked it though!
Maybe this book would've been better in 3rd person.

Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. This one had me going until the end. I thought I had guessed the twist several times, but nope. I was wrong at each one. I very much enjoyed this one and highly recommend it to people who like mysteries and true crime stuff.

i really enjoyed the twist on how they portrayed the murder victim. i was tapped in for all the twists and the reveal was surprising but actually made a lot of sense!! also these characters were so funny. even in their sus moments they had me cackling.
