Poorly written but it did grow on me, I eventually got what the were going for but it mostly fell flat. I did however love the afterword by Jordan Mechner.

This book was one of the most confusing things that I have ever read. Taking place in two separate timelines (I think?) it is unclear who is who and what is happening. I could only maybe describe the plot even directly after finishing it and after a just a few days it's very forgettable. Apparently based on a video game of the same name, it is seemingly not intended for a general audience.
