What a cool concept exploring the consequences of time travel! I downloaded the free Kindle-for-PC in order to buy and read this book. It was only $4. It took me nigh-unto-forever to finish it because of the format - I think if I had a dedicated reader like a regular Kindle I would've finished it in one sitting.

I really enjoyed this book. A completely original take on time travel and the consequences of such a technology existing. I honestly couldn't put it down, and was disappointed when I was finished because I wanted to read more.

In the future time travel is possible, if only for an hour or so. The problem is that there seems to be an auto correct installed in the time line and any changes made are corrected. However, the correction process can be rather violent and disastrous for the present and this is called a timesplash. It's so destructive that it's the weapon of choice for terrorists.

This book is like most thrillers with the good guys trying to stop the bad guys from doing something very very bad. Of course it all comes down to the wire with time running out. Plus when there is the chance to just shoot the head baddy they don't take the shot.

This is an interesting read and potentially a good series set in the future, where anything could happen.

Interesting concept for a book where time travel at first not believed to be taking place but eventually it is and outlawed. The weird part is messing up the past doesn't change events in the present but causes "damage." Fun, fast read.

Very interesting concept. I loved the scifi aspect of it and the characters were interesting, as was the plot. Some of the language (especially in tree beginning) was a bit vulgar, but once overlooked the book was good.

Katharine is a judge for the Sara Douglass 'Book Series' Award. This entry is the personal opinion of Katharine herself, and does not necessarily reflect the opinion of any judging panel, the judging coordinator or the Aurealis Awards management team.

I won't be recording my thoughts (if I choose to) here until after the AA are over.

I thought the premise of this book was great. The writing seemed a little harsh at times, but I liked the concept.

This was a very fun, smart adventure into time travel. I enjoy it when my scifi has a scientist behind it
