I genuinely enjoyed this poetry/prose collection. Quite a few of Peppernell's pieces really resonated with me and I look forward to doing a reread of it to bookmarking particular sections. My favorites included her mental health section, themes on hope, and inspiration on how to continue on when the going gets tough. This was definitely a right read at the right time for me and I found myself rereading sections that felt particularly relevant in my life. I feel this book would be most gauged towards a millennial audience with particular focus on those who enjoy LGBT lit. Overall, I would recommend this work to anyone who needs to be uplifted, inspiration, or just a wholesome bit of hope.

While I didn’t feel this was as powerful as PT 1 & 2, it still packs a punch. A wonderful collection of poetry. I will read anything by Peppernell.

I don't know if I'm giving it 4 stars because it's so comforting to me right now, but I don't feel like being my normal snobby English student self and I am very sad and I miss him very badly and this book is making me want to cry and feel safe at the same time.

This book was chosen by one of my friends for me to read as part of a little book challenge we are doing together and I can say I am so happy she chose thins particular one. It is not the first book in this collection but it made so much sense to me and where I am in my healing journey. I love the rawness and sweetness portrayed in these poems. I felt like they were written by me but at the same time for me. They had the words that have been in my head jumbled, straighten out and written in a way that just makes sense to me. I am excited and obsessed over this author and will be buying and reading more from this collection ♥️

I absolutely love Courtney Peppernell's work. I want to read everything she's written. It's very emotional and evocative and just beautiful. This is the second collection I've read by Courtney Peppernell, and while I think I might like Pillow Thoughts 2 a little bit better, I love everything she writes. It gets me in the feels, and she expresses herself so well.
