This book is the beginning of my obsession with the series, without a doubt. While the last 3 books have been enjoyable and have done wonders to further the plot and flesh out the characters, it's this book that really crossed the T's and dotted the I's for me. The change of scenery, the desperation, and the absolutely phenomenal character growth in the cast of this book was just wonderful. Volke is consistently unwavering in his noble decisions and I respect him so much. He's a good man.
Also, again, the world building just keeps getting better! I loved this book.

(Sidenote, I need moonbeam to get with a certain invisible friend)

This was a great book! It was interesting to see the enemy mastermind, more information about the world and an unique cure for the plague.
