I remember being 9 or 10, picking [b:And Then There Were None|16299|And Then There Were None|Agatha Christie|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1638425885l/16299._SY75_.jpg|3038872], and having a high that I would keep chasing for the rest of my life by reading crime. Recently, more than a decade later, I went back to chasing said high, and what can I say? There is a reason why the classics are, well, classics.

Positives:
- there is a very conclusive ending that wraps up all loose ends, though it confusingly comes AFTER the epilogue. Almost didn’t read it thinking it was an excerpt from another book.
- some of the deaths are very creative
- very short and easy to read for a good who dunit.
- Justice Wargrave is the best name in all of fiction
- hilariously racist to read in the 21st century, especially when you hear what the poem originally was before it was changed to Soldiers.
- easy to get the full audiobook on YouTube for free
Negatives
- the writing style is strange, though that’s normal for an 80 year old book
- some of the murders seem to rely a lot on chance and people behaving strangely.
Overall it was a fun read, but I probably won’t pick it up again.
