Whoever invented Saw read this and was like I can make it worse
There's a character who's racist as fuck and would k!ll a child if it came down to it, but they'd draw the line at throwing out a woman bc she got pregnant unwed which is kind of a wild way to have morals

This was my first time reading And Then There Were None but I had watched the 2015 BBC mini series.  The series did a fantastic job of adapting the story and all the twists and turns were great to read.  The thing I disliked the most about this book was the anti-Semitism Christie includes regarding the character Morris.  I knew some of her works were quite anti-Semitic after reading Lucy Worsley's biography of Christie and that she did receive push back for it during her life; it was still jarring to read though. One aspect of the book I did find interesting was how much some things do not change.  At the start of the book one of the characters is disparaging young people and their comments could have been written today.

And Then There Were None is a seminal work of the mystery thriller genre and if you do not know the solution or don't remember all the twists from the show it is worth reading.

A fun and very quick whodunnit. No character acted dumb given the circumstances, and it did not overstay its welcome. I didn't solve it! 8/10.

An fun, entertaining thriller that keeps you guessing right until the end.
I liked this a lot more than Murder on the Orient Express (the only other Christie book I've read.
Unfortunately a bit racist.
