this was…fun…

honestly, probably should have read Bride before this as my introduction to this subgenre but we did it. I think I teetered between feeling the ick and then also finding them very cute (I feel that certain scenes/chapters, I would have rather read myself than have it been read to via my audiobook). They were a cute couple to meet and now that I’m out of a reading slump, I’m enjoying just picking up anything and everything. If you have any recommendations/favorite books in this subgenre, please send my way but maybe give me a few books in between cause I don’t think I can read them back to back lol.

I don‘t think this was bad? But it just wasn’t really something I enjoyed also.
I kinda liked the story even though their decisions and behavior didn’t always make sense to me 100%. And I also feel like the characters lacked a bit of depth but that is something I can look past tbh. I just really really am not a fan of the omegaverse-stuff and I‘m happy I don‘t have to read a story about shifting, knotting, scenting, heat and all of that again (had to look up explanations on Tiktok because I thought I was just reading a normal romance book - didn‘t know what I was getting myself into, I was expecting doctor romance).

So all in all: not the best book but also not bad, but definitely not a genre i personally like

I really loved this story.
The spice is good. The storyline is cute. It’s expected, but still cute.

This was such a fun book and I absolutely devoured it. I haven’t delved much into omegaverse but this left me wanting more. Lana does such a great job with the jokes in banter in her books, and definitely turning up the heat. She’s going on my instant read list for the future!

Mackenzie and Noah need to make an arrangement, she needs a boyfriend, he needs a fake make. Come to find out they are the alpha and the omega, can they resist their hormones and keep it just as the arrangement?

Quickly flew through the first half. It was mainly smut after that which felt like it took away from the story for me. I do enjoy some smut but it ended up making me feeling disconnected from the characters towards the end. I really wanted to read MacKenzie meetin  Noah's mom.
