Having followed Luke Healy on social media this is my first time reading his published work and it did not disappoint. This style of storytelling isn't for everyone but it is for me. Some might find the ending abrupt but that's life baby!!! It's a personal story and you just really got take that for what it is.
Luke's artwork is really charming to me, I appreciate his framing. Overall I really enjoyed this, I find myself dwelling more on this story afterwards.

It took me a while to decide how to rate this book but I think 4/5 is right for how much I enjoyed it. From other reviews I think you need to know a couple of things before you pick this one up,
1) It's very short and is an easy read in one sitting, although if you're like me you want to read it twice to not miss things.
2) It's not a comedy, it has funny moments but that's not the main focus.
3) There is no clear resolution and the characters and events can be interpreted in different ways. I liked this but others will hate it.

Give these caveats it was a really interesting and thoughtful book and the drawing style is perfect for this kind of story.
