I was too distracted reading this book with LIFE AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
But each time I was torn away from the book, I couldn't stop thinking about it!

My heart aches and I need to reread this in the near future when I have nothing to distract me and am able to fully immersed myself into Patroclus and Achilles' world!

I thought this book was interesting, mostly read it aloud with my boyfriend. I enjoyed the relationship between the two boys but honestly it wasn’t keeping me suuuper hooked throughout. I think it was well-written but felt like it could have kept me interested more.

Wow Madeline Miller somehow made the Iliad boring and removed everything that made it interesting instead replacing already existing characters with boring twinks to satisfy every straight girl’s yaoi craze.
