The book was only 250 pages but it felt so long. Could have been an extra 100 to develop the story better. Also the writing is kind of juvenile.

this was shit ... like bad ... i just didn't get it ngl - I think the messaging was rlly on the nose but also nowhere to be found????

It was basically a city of ember copy with a prison romance thrown in - a romance that, in my opinion, MADE NO SENSE. why would she fancy the prison guard who kills people??? i don't get it - he literally didn't do anything to make her like him I swear

and I will probs read the second one ngl

because I need to understand how on the second to last page they revealed that the bad guy WAS A ROBOT?? when there had not been ANY robot mentions for the rest of the book - such a random twist idk
