I really wanted to like this book. There was a really good premise and a good message but the way it was written just kind of dimmed the impact. It was very clear exactly what the author wanted the reader to take away from the book, which is fine but I would love for everything to not be black and white.
Dystopian. Underground prison. This was good. And I also think, a good interpretation of what could happen to the world. Winnie and the library were such an important part of this.

I can't understand the reasoning of the MC actions... What you mean you're gonna apologize for mouthing off a guard that threatened to kill you.... And genuinely... I was just trying to be nice 🙂... Girl, try to use your brain, this is not a kindergarten, this is a distopic prison (a very bland and uninspired one).
