I’ve been a bit fan of Gigi’s for a long time now. I watched her YouTube videos religiously, and followed her journey. I was obviously very excited when she announced this book, and looked forward to reading it for awhile now!
Even tho she’s shared so much of her life on YouTube, and with her documentary, I still found myself learning new things about her in this book!

A light read. As someone who doesn’t know a lot about Gigi and who doesn’t watch her videos, I now have a better idea of who she is and what her story is, but the book wasn’t particularly entertaining or humorous. It was a quick read and generally better suited for her fan base or her YouTube audience who does watch her content.

As a feminine gay boy, to realizing I am actually a girl, Gigi has always been there for me to look up to. She was always living her most authentic life on social media and it exposed me to positive representation of LGBTQ+ people, which led me to realize its okay to be transgender and its okay to live however you want. Reading her book only gave me new insight into her already amazing self. I love you, Gigi!!!

I was fantastically surprised by how enjoyable and meaningful this book was for me. I had heard of Gigi Gorgeous from a friend and went into this book having seen photos of Gigi, knowing a bit of her story, but never having watched any of her videos. I fully read this on a whim.
I was immediately drawn into Gigi's tone, sense of humor, and direct honesty. I went from being interested in her to finding myself emotionally invested in her to crying at parts of this book. Her sense of humor, attitude about life, and general advice is honestly great. Despite not being famous or from Canada or having gone through the things she's gone through, I felt like I learned a lot and was able to connect to her.
I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who already likes Gigi, or to anyone who enjoys reading quick, tongue in cheek memoirs.
