While I did really enjoy the story, I think the narrator’s voice was a little monotone for me to really get into it fully. And the more I listened idk. I should’ve switched to just the ebook. So going forward in this series I’ll be doing that. 

It’s a very cool concept of everything and I liked how everything built up! I’m excited to see how it’ll continue!

This was an okay read, there was nothing particularly bad about it, I even enjoyed parts of it but when I find myself losing interest and ending up scrolling social media etc rather than being enthralled in what I’m reading I know I have a problem.

Now don’t get me wrong I enjoyed the characters & the basis of the story I just felt it could of done with more grit and action. The kink was okay (check your trigger warnings) it was pretty standard for any vampire romance.

I enjoyed Lenore & Absolons relationship I just felt there was something missing I can quite put my finger on it.

I may finish the series, undecided though.
