I was looking forward to reading about Pandora’s box, or vase, as discussed in the summary. Felt like the writing style sort of put me off and focused on the details I wasn’t really interested in knowing.
The pacing was okay, but the plot had so much potential - the author seemed to be caught up in the details and nuance of writing to do this. I wanted to know more about Dora’s mum, the story behind the vase, and edwards background. All this was revealed in a hurry toward the end.
