Loved the characters in this one, especially Jace's confidence in just being himself. Plus, a dog makes everything cuter.

I enjoyed the first in this series by Riley Hart.
I struggled with this one because the characters just felt flat to me.
The ending was cute and the last third of the book a lot more enjoyable but couldn't make up for the struggle that was the first 2/3.

Such A Sweet Story
I enjoyed Jace and Dax’s story. I enjoyed seeing how well their family meshed together and how there wasn’t any gay bashing in the book.

This was a good book. I'm not a fan of the third act breakup and of course this one had it. I feel like we could've just had the family drama and the two strong characters get through it.
I did really like Jace. He is that down-to-earth guy that everyone likes. Dax was pretty likable for me once we finally started to get some background on why he was the way he was. He's mom was definitely over the top.
I also loved Nance and Keeg. Jace is so close to both of them and it was really refreshing. The world needs more families like them. I'm thinking there was a little nugget in here about Keeg in his future book.

While it was nice to be back in Fever Falls, the story dragged and it took too long for emotions to come into play. I could somewhat understand the reasons for this later on, but it made for a less compelling story.

I really enjoyed this one! Nothing special about it, just a good mm romance with a fun plot.
