This awesome MG graphic novel features one of my favorite characters of all time: Mile Morales. A huge reason why I love him so much is because of the Jason Reynolds version. The fact that Justin A. Reynolds is worked on this version makes it that much better for graphic novels. The artwork was beautiful! It’s perfect for middle grade readers too! The story is strong and tests Miles’ sense of self and character. Thank you Edelweiss for a copy. Grab yours June 1!

Reynolds and Leon really capture the essence of Spider-Man. They also capture what it means to be a teenager and having their plates full, trying to get their priorities together, and figuring out what's important.

Leon's character designs and colors are amazing, and kept me glued to the book. The audience this book is geared towards will definitely have a great time, all while learning about the power of friendship and community!

I really enjoyed this graphic novel. I read it to my kids and they loved it especially since it was Miles Morales Spider man. I also enjoyed the mystery around the story and also the importance of community and what it means. This story was amazing and I like how to Miles and the other character Kyle came together even though they had their differences. I always tell my kids no matter If you disagree with your friends you can always work it out and soon enough you will come together again. I also told my kids that it is normal to get into arguments with your friends, but still let them know that you are always there whenever they need you.
