Melting into you

‘Baby Girl’ is a story of resuscitation. Contrary to the blurb, I wasn’t moved to tears. Normally I cry at the drop of a hat. Toilet paper ads, Hallmark cards, etc. Maybe it was just me. That didn’t diminish the power of the book. The strength in Baby Girl comes from two friends reconnecting in a panty melting, button popping, heap of love.

There were two things which would have elevated Baby Girl to five stars for me:

1. Tears.

2. A few sections from Coldrick’s POV. I think that would have helped. As it was, the bits where he was “present” helped make the story angst free.

Baby Girl is the perfect book for anyone who wants an angst free, hot, friends to lovers romance.
