informative slow-paced

4.0

Rather than being an overview of the matter, this book is a series of interviews with different leaders and activists of different related movements perspective on local approaches and fixes to the problem. I don't particularly like this approach, but I guess it's meant to be more accurate to the cultures, and doing one cohesive overview would be a white and bad approach for this subject matter maybe? I'm not sure. It felt like an anthology and not one informative book like I said, but even though I hate the format there was great information in here and it gave me a quick overview of a lot of different activism causes so it's still good.
