This is a fairly straight forward thriller, and most readers will understand what the plot is, even before they begin reading.  That is fine, because this is a skillfully written, enjoyable mystery.  Then, a few pages from the end, one last twist makes this all the better and unpredictable.

DID NOT FINISH: 46%

So instead of communicating like actual adults these two bitches form opinions about each other. Yeah no. I knew polly was drooling over the child i just knew it. Even before her first pov i knew she wanted that child. I didnt like polly’s pov at all the moment she started forming an “opinion” about tegan like the whole drinking during the pregnancy thingie. I continued after that but dnf at around 50%.
challenging dark emotional lighthearted mysterious tense fast-paced

loved this - basically a take on Misery by Stephen King. super tense but also the ending was so sweet, i think it really brought the whole story together nicely
