Kind of entertaining to listen but super forgettable.

quick, easy, kept me interested but a lot less twisty and surprising than her other books
adventurous dark fast-paced

This one just was not that good :/ there were no wild, unexpected turns that really took me by surprise.

It was honestly kinda boring, and I found myself wanting to be done with it rather than be enraptured by the story like with other Frieda books.

Oh well! Not my favorite.
slow-paced

Note to self: Stop reading Freida McFadden books. They’re never good, the endings are always stupid, you’ll never guess the twist bc it doesn’t make sense and is shoehorned in to seem like a crazy plot twist. Ugh

Once again, a Freida book I devoured like it was my last meal. Definitely check trigger warnings before you read this one, but I found it an enjoyable psychological thriller nonetheless!

Just when I thought I’ve solved every nook and cranny of a Freida plot, she comes out with twists that leave me shocked and (pleasantly) surprised. You never know who has good intentions until the very end and I definitely didn’t see the reveal of circumstances surrounding the prologue to happen as it did. Freida is iconic in her ability to grab my attention from the very first sentence, especially when it’s in one of her prologues. This story reminds me a bit of “Misery” by Stephen King, only less horror-esque.

mid, sem sal, péssimo plot twist, qualquer pessoa dita normal só teria denunciado like estamos em 2025, ninguém naquelas circunstâncias metia a mão na consciência contra raptores socorro…. não me convenceu, toda a história é demasiado fraca
