Yet another great space opera. This book sets up and promises a lot in terms of story. I found the worldbuilding to be deeply engaging and surprisingly vast
I hope that all the promise carries over into the next books in the series

I really enjoyed this, the politicking and the hero's journey of it all. The only negative is that Hadrian is a bit too arrogant for me to actually like him, and his narration is sometimes too melodramatic. The audiobook narrator didn't help, he sounded very posh.
