Instead of one cliffhanger how about 7? Ahhhhhh this book was good better than the first. This insanity needs a conclusion in the next book so bad it’s killing me.

I like when the second book picks up pace and is better than the first! Mind you, I’m still not amazed by this series and it is a bit predictable, but she did get me with a few twists and the pace is definitely amping up a bit. I’m actually excited to read the third book and I hope that the speed continues at least this pace or a little faster.

Legitimate one of the more annoying books that I have read. I almost didn't finish it like 5 times. The character arcs were sudden sloppy and unsatisfying. Somehow it felt like too many disjointed things happened but also like what did I even read it's like nothing important at all happened. Also the book ends on a massive cliff hanger in the middle of a scene. Like not a cliff hanger at the end of a scene. It's in the exact middle of a narrative scene. I don't even mind cliff hangers all the time but this was so abrupt and annoying. It's like you just decided to chop a book in half for sales and didn't really pay attention where the split was. I honestly don't know if I care enough about any of the characters to remember the date the next book comes out to remember to read it.
