This book is even worse than the 1st one and that is saying something. There is no character development and the shallow plot as well as the even shallower writing (feel no emotion connection  and the action scenes are written  terribly) makes the reading experience boring.

A solid four and a half stars!! I literally can’t wait until the next book comes out in a few months!
This book had the classic favourites: enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, morally grey characters, and a found family! Plus a lot of cute creatures, fun magic, and more world building. The last 20% of the book ripped my heart out and is making me nervous for book 3!
This book was equal parts heartwarming and heartbreaking! Would definitely recommend!!

This was waaay better than the first. Felt like the characters were deeper, storylines were clearer, vibes are better. Loved!
