It took me at least half way through the book before I realized what was going on. Kept me wanting to read and I really want some follow up to certain characters.

My first read of the year. It was very predictable. Of course Beth isn’t Sabine, otherwise it would be a very typical plot. And why would Marcus’ POV be written in if there’s nothing to him? At the first mention of Emma, it was very evident that there was something more. Of course, with every mention of her, it just got more and more confirmed. Still, it wasn’t a completely bad read.

A delight! Weird to say about a domestic abuse thriller, but this was so well told. Gripping and suspenseful with a fulfilling ending. 4.5 stars!

Listened to this on audiobook during my many trips to Vancouver. Entertaining enough :)

This book was just okay. I listened to the audio version. It was somewhat entertaining. It was sort of confusing, especially towards the end. There was a comment that did not make sense to me. I’ve read so many similar books to this. The writing was okay.
