Good story, packed with action and violence. Great visual! Loved the colouring and especially the layouts. Perfect use of the medium, very fun and dynamic pages.
Nice recognizable subcultures, and the whole school vibe really works with the plot. They captured the perfect amount of teenage angst and mixed it with the cynicism needed for such a dark story.
Kind of “fear and loathing meet sin city … in high school”?

Poorly written, unoriginal, and boring. Full of stereotypes and the only two female characters were solely there to serve as love interests for the mediocre male main character. No wonder it took me 5 months to slog through 160 pages. Won't be continuing the series.

i don’t know how to feel about this honestly. on one hand, i liked a lot about it. the story is really interesting, the art style and colors are really nice, and the characters for the most part were super engaging. but there was something about it that i just didn’t mesh with. i can’t completely put my finger on what exactly i didn’t like, there was just something about the whole tone of it that i didn’t love. i think i’ll pick up the next volume eventually, i have other things i want to read more.

Great writing accompanied by fantastic art and STUNNING colours. I especially loved
all of the drug-induced hallucinations in the last issue
.
However, for me the violence was sometimes a little too over the top (even though I know this is a book about murder) and I could've done without the homophobic slurs. I understand this is set in a "different time" and can add to the characterisation of whoever is using this language, but I honestly believe you don't have to use it to make your point. There are other, more subtle ways to achieve the same effect.
