Booker and Poppy have such a sweet childhood friends to lovers / second chance romance. I love that Amy's writing is so character and plot driven while still providing top notch spice and romance.

Poppy has been in love with Booker since they were kids. Booker has closed off his heart to any type of love outside of his siblings. Desperate to reestablish their friendship after six years living in different countries, Book offers Poppy his spare room while she waits for hers to become available. Neither wants to admit that there are feelings-- both hurt and blossoming.
