This is a fast read that I gobbled it right up. I also enjoyed cameos from some of the guys in the Man of the Month series. I really liked Cayden, but did his ex do a number on him with trusting women with his heart. Gracie was perfect for him because she brought out a new side to, but made him face his fears head on. This book had a little of everything heat, heart, humor, and suspense.

The kind of story I won't remember a few weeks from now. Not particularly bad, and not particularly good. The climax was disappointing. Up until then I might've been more generous with the stars.

I really enjoyed this quick, suspenseful love story! Cayden was burned before when he found his wife in bed with someone else. He is now bitter and distrusting of love. When a client hires him to find proof his fiance is cheating, Cayden is up for the job. But nothing is as it appears and Cayden is conflicted by his growing feelings for his sweet and sexy target. Gracie is attracted to the sexy man who keeps showing up in her life. She trusts him and turns to him when scary things start happening. But when secrets are revealed her trust is broken and Cayden will do whatever it takes the earn it back and keep her safe. This is a fast paced, suspenseful, and sexy romance, and I can't wait for more from the men of Blackwell Lyon Security!

This is the story of Cayden and Gracie. Cayden is a cynic when it comes to romance and relationships. His wife was unfaithful and he tended to assume the worst of every woman. When a man comes to Cayden's security firm asking him to help prove that his fiancée is unfaithful, Cayden agrees to surveillance with a bit of bait and trap thrown in. What he finds is Gracie, who is nothing like the cheating stereotype in his head and seems to be a beautiful and desirable woman, with a heart of gold. When Cayden discovers that not everything is as it seems, it turns out that perhaps Gracie is the one who needs his help. Great quick read, can't wait for Connor's story in book three.

I loved this book. It was a quick, fun, sexy read full of sweet moments and moments of suspense. I adored both of the main characters and would love to read more about them. Everything is definitely not as it seems and I really enjoyed this storyline. I can't wait to see what's next!

Another thrilling page turner by J Kenner. I loved this book and can not wait to read Conner's story.

I really like that she made Gracie to be a "plus size" model. Really made me enjoy it as a lot of times, it seems like the lead female is made out to be the perfect size 2.

I liked how she portayed Caydon and his story. Was very realistic. I love all her books. Keep up the good work.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Closing his heart to finding his own HEA, Cayden goes through life thinking of women as the enemy. That is until the mark he is following becomes a woman he cannot get out of his head. But will Gracie be the one to break down his walls? Or will she be another woman he cannot trust? Once again, J. Kenner creates a world her readers cannot get enough of. Awesome characters and a storyline that had me hooked from the opening pages, this is another fabulous masterpiece that everyone will enjoy.

This new series is fun and another wonderful insight into the Stark World.

Cayden is a bit cynical and can justify his reasons for being so... until he meets Gracie. He’s hired to investigate her but little does he know, a little job could turn his world entirely upside down (or the right way up).

Full of the drama and suspense that J Kenner does so well, Pretty Little Player is a great read.

I like this novella so much better than the first in the series. It has just enough bad boy, ex military, intrigue, suspense, and scandal for my liking.
